While we already offer an outstanding array of programs, classes, and services for all ages, our move into Cedarburg has opened an even greater opportunityâ€"to reach hundreds of Jewish individuals and families who are not yet connected to a Jewish community. Our new building gives us a permanent, dedicated home where we can finally host events, classes, workshops, holiday programs, and community gatherings without renting outside spaces or being limited by size and logistics.
Led by Rabbi Moshe and Sheina Luchins and their young family, the JDC has become a welcoming home for locals and visitors alike. Cedarburg draws over 250,000 tourists each year, and our new location puts Jewish life right on their path–allowing us to welcome them in for learning, connection, and meaningful Jewish experiences. From ongoing programs to our beloved Chanukah Walk, the JDC brings Jewish tradition, art, culture, and inspiration to the heart of downtown Cedarburg.
With creativity, enthusiasm, and a personal touch, Moshe and Sheina bring fresh energy to Mequon, Thiensville, Grafton, and Cedarburg—connecting with people through Shabbat dinners, children’s learning, creative Jewish workshops, culinary programs, community events, and one-on-one relationships.
