Pelz Hebrew School Curriculum 20017/18

All classes learn about all the Jewish holidays and begin their day with Davening (prayer), adding on each year.

Book of Beraishit

 Student will learn about the 6 Days of Creation and Shabbat. They will make a booklet with different projects of the things that they learned.

 

Theme: Honor Your Elders, respect, Ahavat Yisroel

 

The importance of these Mitzvot.

Learn with songs, music, drama, art projects etc.

 

Aleph Bet – students will learn a new letter each week, and will have their own Aleph-Bet workbook.

Students will learn about our History. They will make a Torah Booklet about the things that they learned. With discussions and interactive activities.

 

 The Jewish Home – Students will study, focusing on different rooms in the house and its appropriate mitzvah (dining room -Shabbat – Kitchen– reciting blessings over food etc.)
